Members of the Green Cove Springs Junior High chess team recently took third place in the 2010 Jacksonville Scholastic City Chess Championship held Feb. 13. Team members are from left, Dalton Cook, Brianna Coleman, Preston Buchanan and Taylor Sweet. Their coach was Lewis Jackson. Coleman also placed second in the grade division she competed in.
